Part 1 and Part 2 Exam Specification for Candidates

ORE Part 1 Familiarisation Exercise

To help you familiarise yourself with the examination system ahead of the ORE Part 1 examination, we have created a short exercise for you to complete.

The purpose of this familiarisation exercise is to give you an opportunity to navigate the system and understand how questions will be displayed. This is intended to help you feel more comfortable with the format and functionality of the system before the examination day.

Please note that this exercise is for familiarisation purposes only. It is not a mock examination and does not reflect the full content, structure, difficulty, or timing of the ORE Part 1 examination.

You can access the familiarisation exercise using the link below:

ORE Part 1 Familiarisation Exercise

Instructions on launching the familiarisation exercise:

  1. On the ‘Enter Keycode’ screen, click OK
  2. On the ‘Confirm Details’ screen, in the real exam you will confirm these details are yours and correct. When launching this familiarisation exercise with the Demo User details, click ‘Yes’.
  3. You will then see the ‘Agree to Terms’ disclaimer which you will see in the exam, which you will need to accept on the day of the exam and also to launch this familiarisation exercise.

Please note that, if the familiarisation exercise takes longer than expected to load, this may be due to a high number of candidates accessing the system at the same time. If this happens, please try again later.

We strongly recommend that you complete this familiarisation exercise before the examination.
